Yarenergo’s power engineers organized a themed event for schoolchildren for Children’s Day

For Children’s Day, specialists from the branch of Rosseti Centre - Yarenergo organized an engaging event on electrical safety for Yaroslavl schoolchildren. The event, attended by 150 students from School No. 83, took place at a movie theater in the Zavolzhsky district.

Instead of the usual lectures, the children enjoyed an interactive experience: games, cartoons, and useful information in an accessible format. Igor Meshkov, lead engineer of the Rostovsky section of the industrial safety and production control office, explained to the students why electricity requires caution and how to behave properly near power facilities.

During the practical part, the children experienced the role of real power engineers. They tried on electrician’s uniforms, learned about work tools, and tried their hand at administering first aid on a special training mannequin.

All participants received useful souvenirs from the energy workers, and the main surprise for the children was the premiere show of a new cartoon from the cinema on the big screen.
