During the past academic year, 45 “Energy Circles” worked in 20 regions where the energy companies operate, bringing together 795 students in grades 8-10.
The students studied physics in depth, learned about the operation of the electric grid, visited energy facilities, participated in master classes, quizzes, and meetings with industry specialists. In total, the energy companies held over 200 career guidance events for the project participants.
At the end of the academic season, the students enjoyed excursions, educational intensives, and intellectual games. The events concluded with ceremonial assemblies and the presentation of certificates.
The project’s results will be announced in the summer of 2026. “Energy Circles” graduates who have enrolled in specialized training programs and signed targeted contracts will be eligible for a corporate scholarship, internships, and subsequent employment with the Rosseti Group’s companies.
“Energy Circles” is an opportunity for schoolchildren to gain an in-depth understanding of physics and get an insight into the electric power industry, learning about modern technologies and the people who ensure the reliable operation of one of the country’s most important industries. For the company, the project is a significant part of training future specialists who will work in the electric grid sector in a few years. “They will be the ones responsible for developing the industry in the coming years,” noted Boris Ebzeev, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC.
The Rosseti Group’s “Energy Circles” project has been running since 2024 and is aimed at training future specialists for the electric grid sector. The curriculum, developed with the participation of specialists from the National Research University “MPEI”, combines in-depth study of physics, preparation for the state final certification, and career guidance.
