Rosseti Centre opened the Grid Control Centre in the Tambov region

22 April 2026

The opening ceremony of the Grid Control Centre (GCC) of the branch of Rosseti Centre - Tambovenergo was held in Tambov. The event was attended by Tambov Region Governor Evgeny Pervyshov and Boris Ebzeev, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC.

The GCC provides 24/7 operational, technological, and centralized management of 0.4–110 kV electric grids in the area of responsibility of the Tambovenergo branch.

The Centre uses modern Russian technological solutions, including the SK-11 software suite, which enables process automation, remote control of power facilities, and reduced fault detection time. An electronic operational log records all operators’ actions in real time. The “Operational Situation” analytical system processes massive data and visualizes key grid performance indicators on a single screen. The regional geographic information system accurately locates facilities and enables monitoring of emergency response crews.

“The creation of the Grid Control Centre is an important step in the development of the region’s electric power infrastructure. Prompt decision-making directly impacts the reliability of power supply, thereby improving residents’ comfort and the stability and sustainability of the region’s development. The regional government consistently collaborates with the Rosseti Group, and this project is a result of that work,” noted Evgeny Pervyshov.

“The new Grid Control Centre controls the power supply of nearly 950,000 residents in the region. Improving the manageability of the electric grid complex reduces the time it takes to resolve technical outages and expands the opportunity to connect new customers,” stressed Boris Ebzeev.
