18 April 2024

General Director of Rosseti Centre Igor Makovskiy visited the Kursk region, where he held meetings with the leadership of the region, the Kurskenergo branch. The head of the company separately drew the attention of the enterprise security unit to the unconditional implementation of all organizational and anti-terrorism measures in the border Distribution Zones.

In these territories, power engineers work in conditions associated with increased risks to life and health. Over the past 2 years, 644 fire impacts on energy infrastructure have been recorded in the Kursk region. The company continuously increases its preparedness for emergency situations and quickly responds to the constantly changing forms and horizon of external threats, timely introducing methods and means to protect personnel and energy facilities.

“In the border region, the power engineers face a particularly important task - not only to quickly respond to disturbances caused by fire, but also to ensure reliable operation of the electric grid complex under any conditions. The power engineers are doing everything possible to ensure that residents of the region have a normal life, with uninterrupted supply of electricity”, said Igor Makovskiy.
