As part of the International Forum “Russian Energy Week 2023”, Governor of the Smolensk Region Vasily Anokhin and General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC Igor Makovskiy signed a cooperation agreement.
The partnership is aimed at improving the reliability and quality of power supply to consumers in the region, as well as ensuring a high level of security of power grid facilities.
The parties noted that an important task within the framework of interaction will be to expand the range of measures to ensure the safety of electric grid facilities. Along with the modernization and construction of new feeding centres and power lines, the protection of energy facilities has become the most important condition for fulfilling the main task - reliable power supply to residents.
“Uninterrupted service to consumers and provision of electricity to Smolensk residents is a goal for which every effort must be made. The administration is ready to provide support to the company so that the infrastructure grid not only expands, but also its facilities are reliably protected and can withstand increased loads in emergency situations,” emphasized Vasily Anokhin.
“The priority goal of the power engineers is to complete all planned activities in preparation for the heating season, as well as its reliable completion. At the same time, in the Smolensk region, as well as throughout the Central Federal District, we are strengthening security measures so that our employees and our facilities can operate as normal,” stated Igor Makovskiy.
