Udmurtenergo is celebrating its 60th anniversary!

17 February 2023 The production history of the Udmurt energy system dates back to the formation of the district energy department “Udmurtenergo” in February 1963.

Today, the Udmurtenergo branch has 2,519 employees, more than 26,000 km of serviced power lines, 221 substations with a voltage of 35-220 kV with a total installed capacity of 3,758 MVA, and 7,575 package transformer stations.

Every year, the company invests hundreds of millions of rubles in the development of the republic’s grid facilities, guarantees the reliability of power supply to consumers and ensures the grid connection of large production sites, socially significant facilities, cultural and sports centres, livestock facilities, and modern residential complexes.

On the day of the solemn celebration of the anniversary of Udmurtenergo, the successes and achievements of the team were noted. 34 power engineers - electricians, drivers of specialized vehicles, engineers - received certificates of honour and gratitude from the Government and the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Communal Services and Energy of the Udmurt Republic, Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC as well as the Udmurtenergo branch.

Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC, wished the employees of the branch broad prospects and new achievements for the benefit of the Russian energy industry: “Over the years, a glorious path has been travelled and wonderful pages have been written in the history of the development of the energy system of the Udmurt Republic. A wealth of production experience has been acquired, multiplied by modern technologies and effective management methods. It is impossible to overestimate the role and importance of the Udmurtenergo branch as an energy base for the operation of the most important industrial facilities of the country”.
