Alexander Brechalov and Igor Makovskiy discussed topical issues of the work of the electric grid complex of the Udmurt Republic

10 February 2023 A working meeting was held in Izhevsk between Head of the Udmurt Republic Alexander Brechalov and General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region Igor Makovskiy. The parties discussed the passage of the heating season and promising directions for the development of the power grid complex of the region.

To ensure reliable power supply to consumers in 2022, the branch allocated 783 million rubles for the maintenance and repairs of Udmurtenergo’s energy infrastructure facilities, and 1,188 million rubles for the modernization and construction of new energy facilities. Igor Makovskiy noted that in 2023 the cost of the repair program is planned to increase by more than 12%, and the investment program in 2023 will exceed last year by 28%.

“High-quality and timely implementation of the measures of the repair and investment programs is the key to successfully passing the autumn-winter maximum loads. This also contributes to improving the reliability of power supply in the region, reducing losses in grids, decreasing the number of violations and the time for their elimination,” emphasized Igor Makovskiy.

The implementation of the municipal contract for the modernization and maintenance of street lighting networks in Izhevsk was discussed. For two years, the power engineers serviced 33.7 thousand lighting fixtures, 2.7 thousand of them were replaced with LED ones. The conclusion of a new contract for the next two years was an assessment of the high level of the work quality of Udmurtenergo’s specialists in this area.

“Our effective cooperation with Rosseti Centre and Volga region allows us not only to provide stable services to residents and industries, but also to reduce the budget burden,” stressed Alexander Brechalov, Head of Udmurtia. “So last year, within the framework of municipal energy service contracts, measures were taken to replace lighting fixtures in 32 schools - this is more than 21 thousand lighting fixtures. Thanks to this, it will be possible to save about 25 million rubles in five years.
