Power engineers of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region continue emergency recovery work in Russian regions

22 November 2022 In the Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Orel, Kaluga and Ryazan regions, the liquidation of the consequences of the impact of the cyclone continues. Hazardous meteorological phenomena are accompanied by gusty winds, freezing rain, sleet, zero crossing and ice phenomena.

The power engineers were mobilized in advance and are in constant contact with the authorities, regional departments of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, the Unified Call Centre and other territorial grid organizations.

By decision of the Headquarters under the leadership of Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, the Ivenergo, Kirovenergo, Kostromaenergo, Marienergo, Tverenergo, Udmurtenergo and Yarenergo branches were brought into readiness for the prompt departure of mobile crews for possible assistance to power engineers in the territories affected by bad weather.

In total, since the beginning of the day on 22 November, in the regions of the Central Federal District, the power engineers have performed emergency and restoration work on 216 overhead lines of 6-10 kV, thereby restoring power supply to 76,308 residents.
