Roman Starovoit and Igor Makovskiy summed up the results of a large-scale outdoor lighting project in the Kursk region

11 November 2022 As part of a working trip to border areas of the Central Federal District, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC Igor Makovskiy met with Governor of the Kursk Region Roman Starovoit.

The head of the energy companies informed the governor about the presentation to the Kurskenergo branch of the certificate of readiness for the autumn-winter period with the highest rating of results, as well as the timely implementation of all measures for the investment development of the territories. The main topic of the meeting was summing up the results of the large-scale work done by the power engineers on installing outdoor lighting in 15 municipal districts on 600 streets. 

The parties will continue to work in this direction in 2023. And the result of a large and necessary outdoor lighting project in 2022 was switching on by Roman Starovoit and Igor Makovskiy of the architectural illumination of the symbol of the region - Kursk Antonovka, in the style of which the operating high-voltage pole of a 110 kV power transmission line was made. 

“Today, despite the large-scale economic challenges faced by our country, we not only prepared for the heating season at a high level, we made the lives of people, our citizens brighter and safer, and presented the capital of the region with a new, beautiful symbol,” noted Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC.

“This year we have carried out a large-scale work on lighting district centres. An extremely important project, because it is not only safety, which is especially important today, but also, of course, comfort. The interaction will continue: projects have already been developed for Zheleznogorsk, as well as several border districts,” Roman Starovoit emphasized.
