Igor Makovskiy: representatives of the special headquarters are personally responsible for the reliability of power supply to the border areas and new territories of the Russian Federation

9 November 2022 As part of a working trip to the border areas, Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, held an off-site meeting of the Special Operational Headquarters for work of power engineers in border branches and implementation of special infrastructure projects at the Belgorodenergo branch.

The Headquarters discussed the operational situation in the border and new territories of the Russian Federation, the operation of power systems during the heating season in conditions of an increased level of terrorist threat, and ways to protect personnel and power facilities from external threats.

Igor Makovskiy and members of the special operational headquarters inspected more than 20 power facilities located in the immediate vicinity of the border and checked the progress of restoration work on the power grid infrastructure damaged by fire.

“We have implemented measures in advance to ensure the safety of our personnel and key infrastructure facilities. Experience has shown that they were all correct. Today, we need to respond to the situation as quickly as possible, preventing the occurrence of interruptions in the energy supply to consumers and ensuring the safety of our employees,” stressed Igor Makovskiy.
