The purpose of the event, held on behalf of Igor Makovskiy, General Director of the energy companies, is to sum up the results of the work for the first 6 months of 2022 and approve plans for the upcoming six months.
Yury Marakin, Deputy General Director for Security, reported that the Unit’s activities in the reporting period were aimed at introducing new means and methods for protecting personnel and power grid facilities, especially those located in border Distribution Zones.
Despite the risks, the unit’s employees completed the security tasks at a high level, which appeared in connection with the conduct of a special military operation by the Russian law enforcement agencies.
It was emphasized that at the same time it was possible to surpass the performance indicators for the same period last year, without reducing the quality and efficiency of the work.
“The relevance and significance of such an event is that it allows not only to sum up the results in key areas in the field of economic and information security, combating corruption and offenses in the Companies, but also to determine clear guidelines for effectively ensuring the security system of the electric grid complex in the coming period”, stated Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region.
