The first training session of the rapid deployment group of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region took place

27 May 2022 In the Kursk region, as part of an exercise to test forces and means for carrying out emergency recovery work in conditions of autonomous operation, the first training session was held to organize a field camp for a rapid deployment group (RDG) of Rosseti Centre, PJSC and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC.

All actions were coordinated with the government of the region, as well as the regional departments of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Two stages of the scenario were worked out. First of all, the gathering of forces and means of the RDG took place, as well as the movement of the convoy to the venue - to the village of Bolshoye Zhirovo, in the Fatezhsky district of the Kursk region. The second stage is the direct deployment of a tent camp, which included, among other things, a communication test, a power supply and lighting device, the installation of security posts and a video surveillance system.

The training involved crews from the branches of Orelenergo, Bryanskenergo, Kurskenergo, including 45 people and 22 vehicles. In total, 145 people and 61 vehicles are ready for mobilization as part of the rapid deployment group in Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region.

First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer Yevgeny Turapin reported to the head of the energy companies Igor Makovskiy about the achievement of the goal of the events - the timely deployment of the camp and readiness for further work.

“Power engineers have always responded as quickly as possible to any emergency situations, but today, in addition to the speed of response, an important task has become the creation of an autonomous infrastructure that will allow employees to effectively perform their duties anywhere in the Companies’ service area. The training has become part of the systematic work, which is ultimately aimed at fulfilling our main task - ensuring the reliable and high-quality functioning of the electric grid complex,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC.
