Igor Makovskiy: today the implementation of anti-terrorist measures in the border areas remains in the foreground

23 May 2022 At a meeting of the Headquarters, Igor Makovskiy decided to expand the complex of anti-terrorist measures implemented in border Distribution Zones of the Bryansk, Belgorod, Voronezh and Kursk regions with additional measures to counter the growing threats.

The head of the companies stressed that the power industry has been systematically working to improve the security level of the energy complex in the border areas for three months, but the number of incidents related to the disruption of the power grid infrastructure is constantly growing. In this regard, General Director instructed to develop additional criteria for assessing the anti-terrorist protection of energy facilities as soon as possible and to take the necessary actions to minimize possible risks.

“The power engineers of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region have repeatedly confirmed their readiness to act in the face of real risks, showing well-coordinated, efficient work in restoring damaged grid infrastructure in the border areas. For our part, we are making every possible effort to implement anti-terrorist measures, because the most valuable thing depends on it - the life and health of our employees,” Igor Makovskiy emphasized.
