Igor Makovskiy: it is necessary to move to the involvement of employees in an independent culture of safe work as soon as possible

Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC, held an operational meeting, at which special attention was paid to the practical implementation of advanced approaches in production relations of the updated labour safety program presented to the management of the company at the annual Collegium in Orel.

Please, be reminded that the event was held on 28 March and brought together key heads of the executive office and branches of the Companies, specialists responsible for economics and finance, as well as chiefs of Distribution Zones.

General Director emphasized that under the new conditions, the company’s main value remains employees, so 2022 has been declared the Year of Occupational Safety and Health. The purpose of the decisions taken in this area is not just to reduce the level of industrial injuries, but to completely eliminate them. For its successful implementation, it is necessary not only to implement the program of activities of the “zero injury” concept, but also to apply new methods and approaches in the fight against it. In particular, as Igor Makovskiy stated, “to abandon only one control and supervisory toolkit in achieving the set goals and, as soon as possible, move to the involvement of employees in an independent culture of safe work, when people’s behaviour is determined by their own consciousness, concern for their health and safety.”
