Igor Makovskiy: “Branch Day” has become an effective platform for dialogue between managers

On 25 November, Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC held the Day of the Nizhnovenergo branch, during which General Director of the companies Igor Makovskiy discussed the current state of affairs and plans for the future with representatives of the region.

Today the branch provides reliable power supply to the entire Nizhny Novgorod region, where 3.2 million people live. In the service area of the enterprise there are 262 substations of 35-220 kV with a total capacity of 5.4 thousand megavolt amperes, 15,592 transformer substations of 0.4/6/10 kV, more than 60 thousand kilometres of power lines.

In 2021, power engineers took an active part in preparing Nizhny Novgorod for the 800th anniversary and celebrated the 90th anniversary of the Nizhny Novgorod energy system. The symbol of the branch is the restored Shukhov tower on the banks of the Oka, which was visited by over half a million people this year.

Managers of the branch discussed these achievements and other topical issues with the specialized deputies of General Director. In continuation of the agenda of the Day, Igor Makovskiy held a meeting to consider the comprehensive development program for Nizhnovenergo for the period of 2022-2024.

As part of the meeting, the head of the Companies made a decision to appoint chiefs of two Distribution Zones of Nizhnovenergo: Anton Tanisov as the chief of the Nagorny Distribution Zone and Andrey Shchelik as the chief of the Arzamassky rural Distribution Zone.

Determining the main tasks for the coming period, the head of the energy company spoke about the priorities for future work and focused on improving the reliability of power supply to consumers by upgrading the power complex of the Nizhny Novgorod region, reducing electricity losses, expanding the direction of additional services, as well as increasing the productivity of employees.

“The efficiency of our work directly depends on the quality of interaction with an extensive network of branches of Rosseti Centre, PJSC and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC. Personal meetings with their management and representatives are an important and necessary tool for open, honest communication, exchange of experience, competencies and clear coordination of our actions,” stressed Igor Makovskiy.
