On 26 March 2020, a working meeting was held between Acting Governor of the Kaluga Region Vladislav Shapsha and General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy, at which current issues of development of the region’s electric grid complex were discussed.
In particular, the parties discussed the interaction algorithm between the headquarters of the energy company and the region under the high-availability mode introduced due to the current epidemiological situation. Igor Makovskiy reported to the head of the region on measures being taken at the “Kalugaenergo” branch and, in general, at Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region to prevent and avoid the spread of viral infections.
Igor Makovskiy informed Vladislav Shapsha about the preliminary results of the branch’s passage through the heating season, the organization of trouble-free operation of Kalugaenergo’s operating services. General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region noted that the company took all measures during the period of the powerful hurricane that covered several regions of Central Russia in mid-March, including the Kaluga region. A redistribution of forces and means was made, which allowed to quickly eliminate violations.
The meeting participants discussed the further phased implementation of the “roadmap” of the digital transformation program until 2021. Igor Makovskiy emphasized that, in the framework of the signed agreement, the energy company in 2019 fulfilled all obligations to the region with regard to the digitalization program, which significantly increased the reliability of the electricity grid operation during adverse weather conditions.
Vladislav Shapsha thanked Igor Makovskiy for his systematic work to improve the quality of electricity supply to consumers in the region, noting that at present “the main thing is to ensure reliable electricity supply to our people.”
