Based on the results of the publication of the unaudited interim condensed consolidated financial statements for 9 months of 2021 under IFRS, the management of Rosseti Centre, PJSC (ticker — MRKC) — managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC (ticker — MRKP) held a conference call to webcast a presentation dedicated to the performance results of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region for 9 months of 2021. Rosseti Centre at the event was represented by First Deputy General Director for Economy and Finance Artem Aleshin and Head of IR Division Sergey Ternikov. The main topics for discussion were the financial and production indicators of the Companies for 9 months of 2021, as well as the expected results of work at the end of 2021. The interested parties were provided with detailed comments on the main factors that influenced the activities of the Companies in the current year, as well as answers to the questions that arose.
During the meeting, Artem Aleshin noted that the Companies continue to make consistent efforts to improve operational efficiency and strengthen the reliability of the operation of the power grid complex in the regions of presence, which is largely evidenced by a decrease in the number of technological violations and the specific failure rate. In the reporting period, the financial results of the Companies were mainly influenced by the growth of income from electricity transmission services due to an increase in net supply and changes in boiler tariffs, as well as organizational and technological measures taken to reduce the level of electricity losses, improve the efficiency of operating costs and technological processes.
It was also noted that the progressive growth of additional non-tariff revenue continues, which fully corresponds to the strategic priorities of the Companies. The Investment Programs of the Companies are being implemented according to the plan within the approved documents. The event participants were presented with the most relevant forecast for key performance indicators for 2021, which implies a significant improvement in financial results compared to the previous year.
