Focus on manageability: key tasks defined for the technical unit of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region

13 May 2026

A meeting of the technical units of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region was held in Kaluga under the leadership of Sergey Demidov, First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of Rosseti Centre.

The main topic was the prioritization of production objectives for 2026, with an emphasis on improving process manageability as the basis for trouble-free operation of the electric grid complex. The meeting participants confirmed the achievement of key production indicators for 2025.

The technical unit has been tasked with further improving management efficiency and strengthening occupational health and safety.

A key tool is the development of digital solutions, primarily the operational work management system (OWMS). Having already proven its effectiveness in eliminating process disruptions and conducting scheduled maintenance, the OWMS allows dispatchers and managers to monitor the location of crews, task completion status, and deviations from production schedules in real time.

“It is essential to ensure the full functionality of the OWMS and data synchronization across all digital circuits - this is the basis for informed management decisions,” stressed Sergey Demidov.

Particular attention was paid to the formation of tariff applications. This work is based on long-term monitoring of the effectiveness of repair and investment programs, a detailed analysis of the technical condition of equipment, and actual production indicators.

This approach guarantees the economic feasibility of the declared parameters and allows for planning the funding necessary to maintain the reliability of the electric grid complex.

Branches’ managers have been instructed to ensure the implementation of 2026 production programs, applying strict prioritization of work based on objective criteria: the number and importance of consumers, the number of calls, and the actual condition of power facilities.

“This approach must be applied comprehensively - from clearing routes along power lines to adjusting maintenance and repair measures. Our goal is complete controllability of every section of the grid, which ultimately guarantees the reliability of the power supply to every consumer. This is especially important in regions with increased infrastructure strain, including border areas, where we are intensively working to restore and ensure the stable operation of the power grid,” noted Sergey Demidov.
