Igor Makovskiy: logistics is a strategically important issue for reliable power supply to regional consumers

25 April 2022

Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC, held an operational meeting, where he paid special attention to the implementation of measures for the logistics of the branches.

Please, be reminded that on 10 March, a meeting was held under the leadership of the head of the Companies, as a result of which a number of decisions were made on interaction with manufacturers of equipment and materials in the face of a sharp increase in prices and limited supplies.

As a result of the implementation of the decisions made, in particular, the transfer of part of the procurement authority to the regions, and strict adherence to the algorithm for the receipt of material and technical resources at the warehouses of the branches, supply disruptions were avoided. Manufacturers deliver products without significant changes in previously concluded contracts and according to the approved schedule.

The head of the energy company noted that thanks to the actions taken and the strict adherence to the scenario approved in March, it was possible to increase supplies under the repair program and, according to the previously approved plan, the warehouses of the branches will be completely filled by the end of spring.

In connection with the increase in the number of material and technical assets entering storage, it is recommended that the branches strengthen video surveillance and measures to protect them. “In the conditions when we are optimizing all areas of our activity, it is important to be especially attentive to the needs of each branch, each specific Distribution Zone. It is necessary to fully provide warehouses with equipment and materials in order to continue to ensure the reliability of power supply to regional consumers at a high level,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region.
