As part of a working trip to the Yaroslavl region, Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC, visited the Uglichsky and Tutaevsky Distribution Zones.
In the Uglichsky Distribution Zone, the head of the companies drew special attention of the management and employees to the practical implementation of the advanced approaches of the updated labour safety program into production relations. It was emphasized that the electric power industry is an industry of high production risk, and the number one priority in the organization of work is the life and health of employees. In this regard, within the framework of the annual Board of the Companies, which was held on 28 March, it was decided to declare 2022 the Year of Occupational Safety and Health. The goal of the implemented measures in this area is not just to reduce the level of industrial injuries, but to eliminate them.
The Tutaevsky Distribution Zone became the first in the Yaroslavl region where a modern automated control system for distribution grids was introduced and such high-tech projects as digital communications and energy storage were implemented. General Director emphasized that due to the measures taken, it was possible to achieve a reduction in the time for restoring power supply to consumers from 2.56 hours to 1.67, which is almost 35%. Such results indicate the benefits of introducing automation into the operation of the power grid.
“Uninterrupted power supply is the most important criterion for assessing our activities by population of the region. Along with this, we must develop the direction of additional services, focus on the implementation of energy service projects, the implementation of which also affects the comfort and safety of residents of the Yaroslavl region,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region.
