Due to the abrupt change in the weather conditions and the passage through the territory of the Kostroma region of a cyclone with wet snow sticking to wire lines and strong gusty winds up to 12-17 m/s the branch of IDGC of Centre has set up high alert operation mode.
Currently, the transmission line protected, there are 14 crews and 16 special purpose vehicles (snowmobiles, off-highway vehicles) of IDGC of Centre — Kostromaenergo division in operation in Neisky, Antropovsky, Sudislavsky, Buisky, Soligalichsky and Octyabrsky districts.
In all Distribution Zones of IDGC of Centre — Kostromaenergo division the operation mode of increased responsibility of the staff has been introduced, suggesting readiness of employees (management personnel, electricians, and drivers) immediately to come to fault locations.
