Tver power engineers of IDGC of Centre continue to restore electricity in the Tver region

Specialists of IDGC of Centre — Tverenergo division continue to eliminate the effects of the cyclone. Work was performed overnight and continued in the early morning. By 11.30 am on December 6 the Tver power engineers managed to restore electricity supply of more than half previously interrupted consumers.

The restoration work involved 105 first responding and repair crews of 810 people, and 203 special vehicles. In addition, resources of contractors were attracted to the work. Additional mobile crews from neighbouring branches of IDGC of Centre — Lipetsk, Orel and Smolensk were sent to the affected areas. The branch is redeploying its own resources —additional forces from the forestry were involved to clear approaches to the damaged power facilities, power lines, additional off-highway vehicles were sent to remote areas.

For the convenience of customers temporary information centres were deployed where one can learn the operational and relevant information on the restoration work in the affected areas. Via the around the clock direct line of power engineers at 8-800-50-50-115 calls are forwarded to specialists of Distribution Zones.
