Volunteers of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” took part in the grand opening in Kostroma of a new military memorial, which is dedicated to all soldiers and officers of the region who went to defend their Motherland in the Great Patriotic War. Their names are carved on granite slabs - there are 20 thousand names.
In the year of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, employees of the Kostromaenergo branch in all 27 Distribution Zones held actions to improve monuments and memorials of military glory in their small homeland. And volunteers of the “League of Good” association actively participated in the creation of the Stella in memory of power engineers who fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. 77 surnames are immortalized on it.
“Introduction to the pages of our glorious history is an important task of the volunteer movement, it forms respect among the guys both for their country and for their enterprise. We will continue patriotic actions this year,” stressed the head of the HR department of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” Lyudmila Tkachenko.
