Specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Smolenskenergo” carried out connection to electric grids of the socially significant medical facility - the regional state budgetary healthcare institution “Gagarin Central District Hospital”, located in the Gagarinsky district of the Smolensk region.
The Gagarin Central District Hospital is a medical diagnostic and advisory centre, provides outpatient and round-the-clock inpatient care. About 46 thousand people of the Gagarinsky district are served by the medical institution. In addition to the residents of the district, all residents of surrounding districts can also get help here. The hospital is equipped with modern medical and diagnostic equipment, highly qualified specialists provide services.
The facility was provided with 100 kW of additional capacity for the medical building, in which a new imaging unit will be installed. The power of the facility is now 150 kW.
The facility will receive power from transformer substations. To connect the district hospital, the power engineers constructed a 0.4 kV double-circuit overhead line made with modern safe self-supporting insulated wire (SIW). Activities on the part of the branch were completed by the Gagarinsky Distribution Zone in a short time.
The modern level of medical equipment makes special demands on high-quality, reliable and uninterrupted power supply. Fulfilling obligations on connection to electric grids of medical institutions, the branch contributes to improving the quality and accessibility of medical care to the population of Smolensk region.
