At the exhibition booth of IDGC of Centre – Belgorodenergo division, deployed within the All-Russian Festival #VmesteYarche, personal declarations of intent to respect energy resources at home and work and petitions in support of energy saving were signed by more than 250 residents of Belgorod. Many of them in the specially organized photo zone backed up their intentions with photos with the hashtag of the event.
The All-Russian Festival #VmesteYarche, dedicated to promoting the culture of rational use of natural resources and demonstrating advanced energy efficient technologies, was held from 2 to 10 September in 75 regions of Russia, including the Belgorod region. Holiday themed events were held today in the open area in front of the cinema "Rusich" with the participation of Deputy Governor of the Belgorod region Yury Galdun, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre – Belgorodenergo division director Sergey Demidov, Deputy Head of the city administration for construction, transport and housing Vitaly Veretennikov, as well as representatives of the education and culture area of the region.
The culmination of the festival was the awarding of winners of the regional stage of the Third All-Russian competition of implemented projects in the field of energy saving, energy efficiency and energy development ENES-2016 and the Second All-Russian Mass Media Competition, press services of energy and fuel sector companies and regional administrations "MediaTEK".
The social projects of Belgorodenergo "Creating the book "Energy – to the Great Victory" and "Annual regional media competition "Energy of the Belgorod Land in the Mirror of Media" were recognized winners in two categories. They separately marked the project "Integrated program for the promotion of energy saving and energy efficiency in the Belgorod region", which was registered to participate in the federal stage of ENES-2016.
Deputy Governor of the region Yury Galdun handed the diplomas to Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre – Belgorodenergo division director Sergey Demidov. He thanked for the high activity of the company in building a culture of respect for energy resources among the population, appreciating that special work, which for several years the power company has been performing in order to improve its own production activities and the level of awareness of Belgorod residents.
Sergey Demidov explained that Belgorodenergo in recent years has been implementing the energy saving and efficiency program, leading to a steady decline in the consumption of fuel and energy resources for its own needs and increase the efficiency of electric power transmission. The overall effect of its implementation in 2016 is expected to reach more than 2 million kWh. With regard to the promotion of energy efficiency, Belgorodenergo’s experts regularly in schools and kindergartens of the region carry out cognitive lessons, at which in simple terms explain why one needs to take care of energy resources.
During the day on the "Boulevard of modern energy efficient technologies" specialists of "Belgorodenergo" advised residents on energy saving, demonstrated modern energy-efficient technologies, for children they conducted fascinating physical and chemical experiments, competitions and quizzes with the presentation of diplomas and gifts.
The All-Russian Festival #VmesteYarche, held for the first time, brought together tens of thousands of Russians, who are not indifferent to the problems of rational use of energy resources.
