Hotline of power engineering specialists:
IDGC of Centre – Voronezhenergo division organized a meeting of representatives of three generations of power engineers - young engineers, veterans of the enterprise and students of the Faculty of Energy of the International Institute of Computer Technology (IICT). The event was held within the framework of "Engineer of the Year", announced in PJSC "Rosseti" for 2016.
The meeting with the students was attended by Chairman of the Council of Veterans of IDGC of Centre and Voronezhenergo Vladimir Skrynnikov, Dean of the Faculty of Energy of IICT Vladimir Boychuk, Head of the central diagnostic laboratory of the diagnostics service of Voronezhenergo Evgeny Podgornov.
The power engineers shared with the young people their knowledge of the profession and answered their questions. Vladimir Skrynnikov, Honoured Veteran of Voronezhenergo, who passed the way from an electrician to the company director, told the young people about the nuances of the power engineering profession, the stages of development of the Voronezh power system, people, who dedicated their lives to it. And the acquaintance with Evgeny Podgornov was also interesting for the students – a young professional, who just four years of work in the branch has gone from an electrician to the head of the central diagnostic laboratory.
At the end of the event the students expressed their gratitude to the employees and veterans of Voronezhenergo for interesting conversation and new knowledge that will help them in the future. "The experience of the industry veterans is invaluable for us. Today we met professionals, who are truly devoted to their work. We not only learned a lot about their work, but also received important parting words from them," said a 3-year student of the Faculty of Energy of IICT Alexey Pozdnyakov.
The employees and veterans of Voronezhnergo expressed the wish to make such meetings traditional.
