Igor Makovskiy opened the XI Board of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region

21 February 2024 General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC, Igor Makovskiy, opened the annual professional Board dedicated to summing up the results of the energy company’s activities for 2023 and approving priority tasks for 2024.
 
The event brought together more than 200 people in Lipetsk: heads of the executive office and 20 branches of the Companies, chiefs of Distribution Zones, chairmen of trade union organizations, leaders of Youth Councils, as well as directors of corporate training centres. Over 20 thousand people joined the work of the Board via video communication.

Igor Makovskiy emphasized that today power engineers work in rapidly changing conditions: they are confronting the effects of unprecedented weather anomalies, as well as external threats that influence not only border areas, but also other regions of the Central Federal District and Volga Federal District. Despite this, all targets set for 2023 were achieved.

The head of the Companies also noted that the company has declared 2024 as the “Year of Physical Culture and Sports”, within the framework of which a number of events are planned: the “Energy of Sports” marathon, passing the GTO standards, the summer sports competition, the festival “Dad, Mom, Me - a Sports Family”, - based on the results of which the most athletic and active branch will be determined.

“In our profession, as in sports, you need to be able to work for results and achieve your goals. In this case, both individual and team work is very important. We have proven more than once that we can work harmoniously, confidently, and continue to develop and move forward under any conditions. I thank our entire team of thousands for their work in the difficult year 2023. We have ambitious plans for 2024, I’m sure we can handle them!” said Igor Makovskiy.
