Hotline of power engineering specialists:
A working meeting between Kirill Yutkin, Deputy General Director of the company, and Georgy Belozerov, Deputy General Director of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), was held in the Moscow office of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation on environmental and climate issues, as well as assessing the contribution of the companies to the public welfare and development of Russia, taking into account the interests of society, the state and the need to protect the environment.
The topic of the meeting was the implementation of the National Environmental and Climate Initiative (NECI), promoted by ASI. The goals and projects of NECI are aimed at adapting to climate change and environmental challenges, increasing the wealth of nature, the health of citizens and expanding the economic potential of nature, which are fully consistent with the environmental policy of Rosseti Centre, PJSC.
The meeting also presented the Business Public Capital standard - a comprehensive tool for assessing the contribution of organizations to sustainable development and the achievement of national goals of the Russian Federation, support for social programs, care for employees and environmental protection.
Rosseti Center’s projects to enhance the aesthetics of the power grid infrastructure received high praise. Georgy Belozerov emphasized that the modern view poles installed by the company in the regions of its presence not only decorate the urban environment, but also contribute to the development of tourism.
The parties confirmed their readiness for further cooperation aimed at creating an ecologically and climatically sustainable environment using advanced scientific and technological developments that contribute to the sustainable development of the country and improve the quality of life of citizens.
