During the May Day holidays power engineers provided reliable power supplies to consumers in 20 Russian regions

General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC Igor Makovskiy assessed the activities of power engineers during the first May holidays. The head of the energy company thanked the team for the high quality of work and ensuring uninterrupted power supply to citizens.

It was noted that during the long weekend, enhanced control was carried out over the safety and stable operation of energy facilities. In total, 4,319 people, consisting of 1,456 crews and 1,869 vehicles, were on duty at branches of Rosseti Centre, PJSC and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC. The power engineers did not allow technological violations in the operational responsibility of the Companies, unconditionally observing all precautionary measures approved by the Operational Headquarters and building a clear scheme of interaction with regional authorities and operational services.

“With the beginning of the May holidays, as a rule, a full-fledged summer season opens and, as a result, the load in the households of residential consumers increases. Power engineers are always on duty and worthily fulfill their duty to ensure reliable and high-quality functioning of the electric grid infrastructure, as well as its safety. To achieve this, the company has developed a number of measures, compliance with which guarantees uninterrupted operation and safety of life and health of our employees”, noted Igor Makovskiy.
